Third Session of the 61st General Assembly to Open March 31

The third session of the 61st general assembly will open at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 31, with the Lieutenant-Governor of Nova Scotia reading the Speech from the Throne.
The second session will be prorogued earlier in the day at 11 a.m.
It is necessary to prorogue the existing session to open a new session of the general assembly.
