Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal (Oct. 2007 - Feb. 2021)

The Emergency Management Office is warning Nova Scotians of a continued increased risk of local flooding tonight, Feb. 28 and Tuesday, March 1.

Water levels in many parts of the province are high and as much as an additional 30 millimetres of rainfall is expected with this latest weather system.

Nova Scotians in low lying and flood prone areas are being advised to take reasonable precautions and monitor local conditions. People should avoid swollen and fast moving waterways where conditions can quickly become dangerous.

Drivers are asked to use caution and adjust speed to conditions.
