ANNAPOLIS COUNTY: Highway 101

Highway 101, from Exit 23A to Mary Jane Riley Road, will be reduced to one lane for reconstruction of on and off ramps from Monday, Sept. 12, until Wednesday, Nov. 30.

Traffic control is on site. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

ANNAPOLIS COUNTY: Mary Jane Riley Road

Mary Jane Riley Road over Highway 101 will be reduced to one lane for paving, pipe installation and guardrail work from Monday, Sept. 12, until Wednesday, Nov. 30.

Traffic control is on site. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

CAPE BRETON COUNTY: Glen Garry Bridge

Glen Garry Bridge on Glen Garry Road will be have a 5 tonne weight restriction for daylight hours on weekdays from Monday, Sept. 12, until Friday, Sept. 30, while repairs are being carried out.

COLCHESTER/CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Cobequid Pass - Highway 104

The Cobequid Pass will be closed to all vehicles more than 2.6 metres in width from Tuesday, Sept. 13, until Friday, Sept 30, to install 12 signs on the gantries and toll booth canopies at the Toll Plaza. Vehicles more than 2.6 metres wide should exit to Trunk 4 at Exit 6 if travelling east and Exit 12 if westbound.

Detours will be set up prior to both exits.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Route 333

Route 333, near the end of Trunk 3, will be reduced to one lane for two kilometres for asphalt repairs until Wednesday, Sept. 14.

Work takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

PICTOU COUNTY: Route 256

Route 256, from Route 376 west for about three kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for paving until Friday, Sept. 16.

Traffic control is on site. Work takes place from daylight to dust.

PICTOU COUNTY: Route 289

Route 289 from Woodburn Road east to Melmerby Beach entrance will be reduced to one lane for cold planing and paving from Monday, Sept. 12 until Friday, Sept. 16.

Traffic control on site. Work takes place from daylight to dusk.

PICTOU COUNTY: Trenton East River Bridge

The Trenton Connector will be closed on Tuesday, Sept. 13, for repairs to bridge.

A detour will be in place. Work will take place from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Clarence Road, from Fitch Road intersection west for three kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for ditching, culvert replacement, milling, patching and shouldering until Monday, Oct. 31.

Trunk 8, from Virginia Road intersection south for three kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for road work until Monday, Oct. 31.

Trunk 10, from Crisp Road intersection south for 4.5 kilometres, and from West Dalhousie Road intersection south for 9.3 kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for ditching, culvert replacement and paving until Monday, Oct. 31.

Traffic control on site. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Route 245 from Arisaig Point Road, west for about 3.5 kilometres will have alternating lane closes for ditching, culvert work and paving until Monday, Oct. 31.

Traffic control on site. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.

William's Point Road will be reduced to one lane for repaving until Monday, Oct. 31.

CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 125

Highway 125, eastbound lanes from Meadow Brook Road to Exit 4 for about 11.5 kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for paving until Friday, Sept. 16.

Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Sections of Hillside Road will be reduced to one lane until Monday, Oct. 31, for repaving north from the intersection of Route 327. Drivers should use extra caution in the area.

CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Route 216

Route 216, from Trunk 4, west for about seven kilometres will be reduced to one lane for repaving until Friday, Sept. 30.

Work takes place from daylight to dusk.

CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Trout Brook Road

Sections of Trout Brook Road will be reduced to one lane until Monday, Oct. 31, for repaving west from the intersection of Trunk 22. Drivers should use extra caution in the area.

CAPE BRETON COUNTY: Upper Leitches Creek Road

Traffic on sections of Upper Leitches Creek Road is reduced to one lane to allow for repaving from the intersection of Leitches Creek Road for about five kilometers until Monday, Oct. 31.

Delays are possible. Drivers should use extra caution in the area.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Allan Hill and South Branch Roads

Allan Hill and South Branch roads in the Advocate area have a weight restriction of five tonnes until further notice.

Improvements are being made to the Fields Bridge on Shulie Road, but it will be open during construction. The work takes place until Nov. 15, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Little Forks Bridge on Trunk 2 will be closed for repairs until Friday, Sept. 23.

Blue Sac Road in Parrsboro will be reduced to one lane for culvert installation until Monday, Oct. 31.

GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Melford Brook Bridge

The Melford Brook Bridge on Route 344 at Middle Melford is closed. A two-lane detour bridge is in place until a permanent bridge is built.

The speed limit has been reduced to 60 kilometres per hour and warning signs are in place.

GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Route 316

Route 316, from 4.7 kilometres west of Trunk 16 to about one kilometre west of the White Head Road, will have alternating lane closures for upgrading, cold planing an repaving until Monday, Oct. 31.

Trunk 7, from Moosehead to Moser River, will be reduced to one lane for drain improvements and repaving until Monday, Oct. 31.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Trunk 30 (Cabot Trail)

Trunk 30 (Cabot Trail) from about a half a kilometre south of Brazile Road for about 6.5 kilometres, is reduced to one lane for upgrading, planing and asphalt concrete patching until Monday, Oct. 31.

Pilot vehicles and traffic control on site. Work will take place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Murrays Hill Bridge, which crosses the Mabou River near Rankinville Road, is closed until further notice.

Trunk 19, for about 6.5 kilometres from Campbell's Road to south of Chishom Road, and River Deny's Road, for about two kilometres from Trunk 19, will be reduced to one lane for cold planing and asphalt repairs until Monday, Oct. 31.

Pilot vehicle and traffic control people will be on site. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

KINGS COUNTY: Bridge Closure

Traffic on the Busby McMahon Bridge on Brooklyn Street, near Aylesford, is reduced to one lane until further notice. Traffic lights are in place.

KINGS COUNTY: Gladys Porter Bridge

Gladys Porter Bridge in Port Williams is reduced to one lane for bridge rehabilitation until Friday, Sept. 16.

PICTOU COUNTY: Highway 104

Two temporary intersections are in use on Highway 104, Trans-Canada Highway, near Sutherlands River.

One is located about 70 metres west of the Exit 27A intersection. To access Trunk 4, use this temporary intersection.

The other intersection is on School Road in front of East Pictou Middle School. To access School Road, including F. H. MacDonald Elementary School and East Pictou Middle School, use this temporary intersection.

MacAuley Road to River John Road will be reduced to one lane for shouldering and paving until Friday, Sept. 16.

PICTOU COUNTY: Route 245

Route 245, from Smith Road to Brown's Mill Road, about six kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for patching and repaving until Friday, Sept. 30.

Public should expect delays. Traffic control people on site. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

PICTOU COUNTY: Route 245, Shore Road

Route 245 will be closed east of civic No. 1684 Shore Road, Merigomish, for cross-culvert replacement until Wednesday, Sept. 14.

Traffic traveling east will detour at Exit 27 of the Trans-Canada Hwy 104, via Brown's Mill Road to Route 245. Motorists are advised to use caution through the construction zone.

Work takes place from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Sections of Trunk 4, west from Lakeshore Drive, will be reduced to one lane until Monday, Oct. 31, for repaving.

Trunk 4, from about 5.5 kilometres east of Lakeshore Drive, west at Campbell's Brook Bridge, will be reduced to one lane for bridge repairs, upgrading and paving until Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012.

Sections of West Bay Highway (Dundee Road), east from County Line Road, will be reduced to one lane until Monday, Oct. 31, for paving.

Highway 105 from about three kilometres west of Exit 11 for about six kilometres will be reduced one lane for paving.

Highway 105 from Exit 11 to Exit 12 for about four kilometres will be reduced to one lane for paving.

Work is expected to end on Tuesday, Sept. 20.

Traffic on the MacLeod Angus Bridge in South Harbour over the South Aspy River on the Cabot Trail, is reduced to one lane until further notice. Traffic signals are in place at the bridge.

Indian Sluice Bridge will be closed for repaving on Tuesday, Sept. 6 from 8 a.m. - 10 a.m., 10:30 a.m. - 12 noon, and 1 p.m. - 8 p.m.
