Fourth Session of the Sixty-first General Assembly to Open March 29

The fourth session of the 61st general assembly will open at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 29, with the Lieutenant-Governor of Nova Scotia reading the Speech from the Throne.
The third session will be prorogued earlier in the day at 11 a.m.
It is necessary to prorogue the existing session in order to open a new session of the general assembly.
