NSLC product recall of Woody's Sasparilla

The Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation (NSLC) today, Aug. 3, recalled 330 ml bottles of Woody's Sasparilla Vodka Cooler (article # 1011322) and suspended sales in all NSLC stores.

Glass pieces have been detected in some bottles of this product in Manitoba. It is precaution only, since no glass has been found in this product in Nova Scotia.

The recall is for products with a best before date of 16/02/14. Customers returning full or partially full bottles of this product to the NSLC will receive a full refund. Woody's Sasparilla Vodka Cooler will not return to store shelves until the NSLC is confident the issue has been resolved.
