Assault at Central Nova Scotia Correctional Facility

Two male offenders were involved in an altercation at about 11:50 a.m., Friday, Aug. 10, at the Central Nova Scotia Correctional Facility in Dartmouth.

Onsite health-care professionals responded. One offender was transported and admitted to hospital with facial injuries.

Halifax Regional Police are investigating the incident.
