The Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation (NSLC) released its first quarter results today, Sept. 5.
For the three month period, from April 1 to July 1, the NSLC recorded sales of $150.6 million compared to sales of $148.7 million for the same period last year, an increase of 1.3 per cent.
NSLC's first quarter net income was $58.6 million, an increase of $1.4 million or 2.4 per cent, when compared to first quarter last year. This quarter had one less selling day than the same period last year.
