Surplus Auction Scheduled for May 25

Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal (Oct. 2007 - Feb. 2021)

Buyers could enjoy heavy duty savings at the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal's annual heavy equipment auction Saturday, May 25, in Dartmouth.

The auction features two tractor trailer loads of miscellaneous heavy equipment parts as well as many trucks, vans, loaders, excavators and similar equipment from government departments. There will also be kitchen equipment, electric generators, electric pallet jacks and office equipment such as cabinets, water coolers, and so on.

The items can be viewed Friday, May 24, from noon to 4 p.m. and on auction day between 8:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. Photos will be available online at www.gov.ns.ca/tran/hottopics/auction.asp before the auction.

This auction is at 10 a.m., at the Auction Advantage Warehouse at 11 Mount Hope Ave., Dartmouth. It will be conducted by Auction Advantage. Cash, debit and credit cards will be accepted.

All profits will be used to reduce the provincial deficit.
