Sherbrooke Village to host Time Travellers' Reunion, a Steampunk Social

Communities, Culture and Heritage (Jan. 2011 - Aug. 2021)

Sherbrooke Village and the Jules Verne Phantastical Society are exploring Steampunk with a Time Travellers Reunion on June 15 and 16.

There will be a vendor emporium, garden party, entertainment including Eli August and the Abandoned Buildings with Cabaret, authors, artists and a fashion show with prizes and dinner.

Workshops will include Steampunk 101, in English and French, songwriting, QandA with Steampunk author A.F. Stewart, Phantastical Contraptions and Steampunk, Ambrotype Workshop, The Whir of Gears: Steampunk Music, Creative Writing in the Age of Steam, Costuming at Sherbrooke Village, The Curious Art of War, Time Traveling in Your Living Room, Theatrical Creation and children can make jewellery and time capsules.

The Jules Verne Society is excited to open its steampunk season in such an authentic setting.

The event is supported by the Department of Communities, Culture and Heritage, the Municipality of St. Mary's and Destination Eastern and Northumberland Shores with programming and setup help from the Jules Verne Phantastical Society.
