Team Nova Scotia

Team Nova Scotia welcomes the Atlantic Lottery Corporation as a sponsor for the 2013 Canada Summer Games.

"The generosity of Atlantic Lottery Corporation enhances the level of service we can provide to our athletes," said Team Nova Scotia Chef de Mission Lynda Shoveller. "With the help of sponsors like Atlantic Lottery Corporation, our athletes are able to focus on their sports and accomplishing the goals they've worked so hard to achieve."

One-hundred per cent of the Atlantic Lottery Corporation's profits go back to the province to help fund social programs, education and sports programs. This is the 19th Canada Games the corporation has contributed to the success of Team Nova Scotia's athletes through sponsorship.

"We have been a supporter of Team Nova Scotia and the Canada Games since the very beginning of the Atlantic Lottery in 1976," said Chris Lydon, manager, Government Relations. "The Canada Games is part of the fabric of Atlantic Canada and plays an important role in the lives of young Atlantic Canadians. We're proud to be part of that."

Team Nova Scotia is also supported by official sponsor MEE Sports, and the generosity of partners including Sport Nova Scotia, the province of Nova Scotia, and the Nova Scotia Provincial Lotteries and Casino Corporation.

The Canada Games are held every two years, alternating between summer and winter. They are key in developing Canada's young athletes, producing the next generation of national, international and Olympic champions.
