CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 125 Detour
Beginning Wednesday, July 24, traffic on Highway 125 in Sydney will be detoured onto new lanes between George Street and Grand Lake Road. The speed limit will be reduced to 80 km/h on that section. The detour will be in place until Wednesday, Aug. 21.
There will be stop-and-go traffic and longer delays on Wednesday while the detour is being set up. Drivers should use extra caution or take an alternate route.
