Gravel Road Weight Restrictions

WEST-CENTRAL NOVA SCOTIA: Road Weight Restrictions Announced
To protect gravel roads during recent mild, wet weather, the province is posting weight restrictions on gravel roads in six counties.
Effective immediately, all provincial gravel roads in Hants, Halifax, Kings, Annapolis, Digby, and Lunenburg counties are restricted to a maximum weight of 15,000 kilograms (15 tonnes).
The province will continue to monitor road and weather conditions, and when temperatures get colder the restrictions may be lifted.
