Surplus Auction Set For June 27

Internal Services (June 2014 - May 2019)

Vehicles, heavy equipment, electronics and a host of other items will be sold at the provincial government's surplus auction on Saturday, June 27, in Dartmouth.

The auction will also include items seized by the Crown as proceeds of crime.

Among the items expected to be auctioned are cars and light trucks, mowers, plowing equipment, commercial food equipment, plumbing fittings and equipment, a utility trailer, photo equipment, GPS equipment, a satellite dish, electric pallet jacks and two-wheel carts.

The auction will be held at 10 a.m., at the Auction Advantage warehouse at 11 Mount Hope Ave., Dartmouth. The items can be seen Friday, June 26, from noon until 4 p.m., and on auction day between 8:30 a.m. and 10 a.m.

Revenue from the sale goes towards the province's debt and to help pay for services for victims of crime and crime prevention initiatives.

The auction will be conducted by Auction Advantage. Cash, debit and credit cards will be accepted.
