NEW WORK
HANTS COUNTY: Highway 101
Highway 101 between the twinned section near Hantsport to Exit 5A in Windsor, including the ramps at Exits 5A, 6 and 7, will have stop-and-go traffic until Friday, Nov. 20 for paving and ramp repairs.
Work takes place from dawn to dusk.
CONTINUING WORK
CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 125
The westbound ramp at Exit 8 on Highway 125, is closed to all traffic until Thursday, Nov. 19.
Detour via Church Hill Drive.
COLCHESTER COUNTY: Highway 102
Sections of the southbound lanes of Highway 102, from Exit 11 at Stewiacke to the Colchester County line, are reduced to one lane until Monday, Nov. 30, to install rumble strips.
Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
COLCHESTER COUNTY: Plains Road
Plains Road, from Ventura Drive to Lancaster Crescent, is closed during culvert installation until Monday, Nov. 30.
Traffic control people are on site. There is an alternate route via Masstown Road, Trunk 2, and McElmon Road.
COLCHESTER COUNTY: Trunk 4 Sections of Trunk 4, for about four kilometres from Highway 104 to the Masstown Market, are reduced to one lane for guardrail work and paving until Tuesday, Dec. 1.
Traffic control people are on site. Expect stop-and-go traffic.
CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Eddy Road
Eddy Road to Fort Lawrence, near Amherst, is closed until further notice because of a collapsed culvert.
DIGBY COUNTY: Bonnie Road
The Bonnie Road Overpass over Highway 101 near Meteghan, is closed to all traffic until further notice.
A detour route is marked.
DIGBY COUNTY: Melanson Mills Bridge
Melanson Mills Bridge on Marc Comeau Road is closed until further notice to replace the deck.
A detour route is in place.
DIGBY COUNTY: Salmon River Bridge
Salmon River Bridge, on Trunk 1, in Salmon River, is reduced to one lane for repairs until further notice.
The bridge has an 18 tonne weight restriction. Vehicles over 18 tonnes must use the detour route on Salmon River Road, Exit 32 Hwy. 101 to Exit 31.
INVERNESS COUNTY: Crowdis Bridge
Crowdis Bridge is closed until further notice for repairs. A detour is available via Crowdis Cross, West Big Intervale, and Hatchery roads.
INVERNESS COUNTY: Highway 105
Sections of Highway 105 from east of the Port Hastings Rotary, for about 13.5 kilometres to Queensville, are reduced to one lane for paving until Tuesday, Dec. 15.
Traffic-control people and a pilot vehicle are on site. Work takes place from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
INVERNESS COUNTY: West Lake Ainslie Road
The Hayes River Bridge on West Lake Ainslie Road has a 15-tonne weight restriction.
PICTOU COUNTY: Trunk 4
Sections of Trunk 4, from Pleasant Valley Road, for about five kilometres west to Route 376, are reduced to one lane during bridge repairs and repaving until Monday, Nov. 30.
Motorists should travel with caution through the construction zone. Work takes place from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
RICHMOND COUNTY: Trunk 4
Trunk 4, from west of Soldiers Cove Road westerly for 5.5 kilometres, has alternating lane closures for paving until Monday, Nov. 30.
Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
VICTORIA COUNTY: Gillis Bridge
Gillis Bridge, on North Branch Road, just past Uisge Bàn (USH-KA BAN) Falls Provincial Park, is closed until further notice.
Access to the park is not affected.
VICTORIA COUNTY: Middle River Bridge
Middle River Bridge, Highway 105 at Nyanzya, is reduced to one lane for bridge repairs until Tuesday, Dec. 15.
Traffic control signals are in place.
YARMOUTH COUNTY: Gavel Bridge
Gavel Bridge on Gavel Road over Gavels Lake is closed for replacement until Sunday, Nov. 15.
Use an alternate route.
