Annual Sportfishing Weekend, June 3-4

Residents and non-residents can fish without a general fishing licence during the annual Nova Scotia Sportfishing Weekend, June 3 to June 4.

All bag limits and other regulations still apply. Information on sportfishing can be found at http://novascotia.ca/fish.

The licence-free weekend will also include 20 fishing derbies. A list of those and other derbies happening this season can be found at www.novascotia.ca/fish/activities-and-events/.

All anglers are reminded to put safety first and to use flotation devices when on the water.
