Adams v Northwoodcare Halifax Inc. Board of Inquiry

An independent human rights board of inquiry into the matter of Ada Adams v Northwoodcare Halifax Inc. begins Tuesday, Nov. 13, in Halifax.

Ms. Adams alleges discrimination with respect to her family status, saying she was denied a job at Northwoodcare Halifax Incorporated because of her relationship with her husband.

The hearing will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Holiday Inn Express, 980 Parkland Dr.

Nelson Blackburn is the board chair and is independent of the Nova Scotia Human Rights Commission.
