Labour Day Celebration Message

NOTE: The following is a statement from the Minister of Labour and Advanced Education Labi Kousoulis.

Please join me in celebrating all of the hard-working Nova Scotians who are helping shape a safe and prosperous province.

Labour Day is a time to honour the combined efforts of employees, employers, unions and the associations that support them. It is through our shared commitment that Nova Scotians have meaningful employment opportunities and that we are building a stronger economy together.

Our province is thriving because of your hard work and dedication. Together, we can continue to achieve excellence and create the kind of province we all want to be a part of.

I wish Nova Scotians a safe and happy Labour Day. I hope everyone can find some time over the weekend to take a well-deserved break and spend time with family and friends.
