Fort Point Road, LaHave, from Route 331 to the end of the road, has alternating lane closures for drainage improvements and repaving from Monday, Sept. 16 until Thursday, Oct. 31.

Traffic control consists of stop and go traffic. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.

Pentz Road, LaHave, from Route 331 westerly to Route 331 easterly, has alternating lane closures for drainage improvement and repaving from Monday, Sept. 16 until Thursday, Oct. 31.

Traffic control consists of stop and go traffic. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.

School House Road, LaHave, from Route 331 south to Route 331 north, has alternating lane closures for drainage improvement and repaving from Monday, Sept. 16 until Thursday, Oct. 31.

St. Peters Hall Road, from Route 331 south to Route 331 north, has alternating lane closures for drainage improvement and repaving from Monday, Sept. 16 until Thursday, Oct. 31.

Stonehurst Road, Stonehurst, from South Side Road to the end of the road, has alternating lane closures for drainage improvement and repaving from Monday, Sept. 16 until Thursday, Oct. 31.

Traffic control consists of stop and go traffic. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.


LUNENBURG COUNTY: Tanner Road, Martins Brook

Tanner Road, Martins Brook, from Stonehurst Road to the end of the road, has alternating lane closures for drainage improvement and repaving from Monday, Sept. 16 until Thursday, Oct. 31.

Traffic control consists of stop and go traffic. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.


QUEENS COUNTY: Old Port Mouton Road, Liverpool

Old Port Mouton Road, Liverpool, from Liverpool Town Line just past Dr. John C Wickwire School, has alternating lane closures for drainage improvement and repaving from Monday, Sept 16. until Thursday, Oct. 31.

Traffic control consists of stop and go traffic. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.


CONTINUING WORK


CAPE BRETON COUNTY: Highway 125

Highway 125 will be down to one lane between Kings Road and Grand Lake Road until Monday, Sept. 30 to allow for asphalt concrete patching and repaving. Related work will include bridge repairs to the Kings Road overpass in Sydney River. Expect some delays. Signage is in place.


CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Nappan Marsh (Rainbow) Bridge Trunk 2

Nappan Marsh (Rainbow) Bridge over the Nappan River on Trunk 2, outside Amherst, is closed until further notice.

A detour is available on Route 302, Southampton Road and Smith Road. Traffic approaching Amherst is being rerouted a short distance on the Nappan and Lower Porter Roads, while traffic leaving Amherst is required to detour on Smith Road.


GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Sonora Road

There will be alternating one lane closures to allow ditching, widening, asphalt concrete patching and repaving. The work area runs from five kilometres south of Trunk 7, southerly for about six kilometres to Sonora Road Loop. The work continues until Monday, Sept. 30.

Traffic control people will be on site with an occasional pilot vehicle in use.


GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Trunk 16

There will be alternating one lane closures along Trunk 16 between the intersection of Queen and Church Streets, in the Village of Guysborough, north to Route 344 to allow for ditching, widening, cold planing and asphalt patching and repaving. The work continues until Thursday, Oct. 31.

Traffic control people, with the use of an occasional pilot vehicle, will be in place.


HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Dartmouth, Victoria Road Bridge, Victoria Road

Bridge rehabilitation work is being done to the Victoria Road Bridge, Victoria Road, until Tuesday, Oct. 15.

The majority of work will take place after 6 p.m., from Monday to Friday and on weekends. Weekday work will take place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.


HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 102, Lantz

There will be work on the Lantz Connector between Highway 102 and Trunk 2 (Shaw Drive) and the Nine Mile Bridge on Highway 102 north of Exit 8.

The scope of the project includes building a detour bridge for the replacement of the Nine Mile Bridge, building up the highway for an additional exit with four ramps, roundabouts, Highway 102 widening for one kilometre of both north and southbound lanes and the connector road from Highway 102 to Trunk 2.

Temporary speed zone changes over the Nine Mile Bridge detour will be 80 kilometres an hour. Speed limit decrease will be in effect 24 hours a day until completion of the project. Hours of operation will be from sunrise to sunset and there will be no overnight work.

End date for Nine Mile Bridge northbound work will be Oct.31, End date for Nine Mile Bridge southbound work will be July 31, 2021.


INVERNESS COUNTY: Cranton Bridge, Margaree Centre

Cranton Bridge, Margaree Centre, is closed until further notice due to safety concerns. A replacement bridge is expected this year.

A detour is in place via East Big Intervale Road, Crowdis Cross Road and West Big Intervale Road.


KINGS COUNTY: Halls Road, Aylesford

Halls Road, Aylesford, from Route 201 to Victoria Road, has alternating lane closures for repaving and upgrading until Thursday, Oct. 31.

Traffic control consists of stop and go traffic. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.


KINGS COUNTY: Highway 101, Deep Hollow Overpass, Greenwich Overpass

Bridge rehabilitation is now taking place on the Deep Hollow Overpass and the Greenwich Overpass on Highway 101, between Exits 10 and 11A, from sunrise to sunset.

A traffic light will be in place on the bridge during the day. However, the highway will be closed for night work from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. until Thursday, Oct. 10. A detour on Trunk 1 will be provided.


LUNENBURG COUNTY: Bolivar Road, Upper LaHave

Bolivar Road, Upper LaHave, from Leary Fraser Road to Trunk 3, has alternating lane closures for gravelling until Monday, Sept. 30.

Traffic control consists of stop and go traffic. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.


LUNENBURG COUNTY: East River Bridge, Trunk 3

East River Bridge, Trunk 3, East River, about 150 metres west of Route 329, has alternating lane closures for bridge work until Thursday, Oct. 31.

Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.


LUNENBURG COUNTY: Haines Road

Alternative lane closures are planned to allow for resurfacing and upgrading of Haines Road from Route 325 to Upper Branch Road, a distance of about five kilometres. Expect stop and go traffic. The work is expected to be completed by Monday, Sept. 30.


LUNENBURG COUNTY: Mill Cove Shore Road, Mill Cove

Mill Cove Shore Road, Mill Cove, Route 329, has alternating lane closures for gravelling until Monday, Sept. 30.

Traffic control consists of stop and go traffic. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.


LUNENBURG COUNTY: New Elm Road, New Elm

New Elm Road, New Elm, from Route 210 northerly for five kilometres, has alternating lane closures for repaving and upgrading until Thursday, Oct. 31.

Traffic control consists of stop and go traffic. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.


LUNENBURG COUNTY: Station Road, Lower Northfield

Station Road, Lower Northfield, from Northfield Road to Back Street 2 Road, has alternating lane closures for gravelling until Monday, Sept. 30.

LUNENBURG COUNTY: Sweetland Road, Lower Northfield

Sweetland Road, Lower Northfield, from Northfield Road to Back Street 2 Road, has alternating lane closures for gravelling until Monday, Sept. 30.

Traffic control consists of stop and go traffic. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.


PICTOU COUNTY: Highway 104 (Westbound Lanes)

Highway 104, westbound lanes near Westville, from Exit 21 to Exit 20, are reduced to one lane in various locations for bridge rehabilitation and repaving until Monday, Sept. 30.

Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.


PICTOU COUNTY: Highway 104 (Eastbound Lanes)

Highway 104, eastbound lanes near Salt Springs, Exit 19, for about six kilometres is reduced to one lane in various locations for bridge rehabilitation and repaving until Monday, Sept. 30.

Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.


QUEENS COUNTY: Eastern Shore Road, Brooklyn

Eastern Shore Road, Brooklyn, from Brooklyn Shore Road to East Berlin Road, has alternating lane closures for repaving and upgrading until Thursday, Oct. 31.

Traffic control consists of stop and go traffic. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.


QUEENS COUNTY: Molega Road, Molega

Molega Road, Molega, from Route 208 southerly for about three kilometres, has alternating lane closures for gravelling until Monday, Sept. 30.

Traffic control consists of stop and go traffic. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.


RICHMOND COUNTY: Port Royal Bridge

Port Royal Bridge, Port Royal Road on Isle Madame, is closed until further notice. A detour is in place on MacEachern Road.


YARMOUTH COUNTY: Highway 103

Highway 103 between Exit 31, Pubnico and Exit 30, Barrington, has alternating lane closures for asphalt improvement work until Monday, Sept. 30.

Traffic control personnel and signs will be in place. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.


YARMOUTH COUNTY: Hurlburt Falls Bridge, Tusket Falls

Hurlburt Falls Bridge, Tusket Falls, on Lake Vaughan Road is closed until the bridge is replaced later this year.

Detour is in place.
