Lawrence v. Searidge Foundation Board of Inquiry Begins

An independent human rights board of inquiry into the matter of Darlene Lawrence v. Searidge Foundation begins Wednesday, Feb. 5 in Annapolis Co.

Ms. Lawrence alleges that Searidge Foundation discriminated against her with respect to her race/colour and sex (gender) during her employment with the company.

Board chair Dennis James will oversee the proceedings. He is independent of the commission.

The hearing will begin at 9:00 a.m. at Annapolis Basin Conference Centre, Desmond Piers Memorial Hall, 268 Marine Dr., Cornwallis Park.
