MyHealthNS Services Winding Up

Health and Wellness

As announced in August, the vendor that operates MyHealthNS informed the province it would not be renewing its contract to operate the province’s online tool that allows participating patients to access their health information and communicate with their health-care provider.

The contract between McKesson Canada and the province will end on March 31.

The final day for access to the MyHealthNS system for health-care providers will be March 27. For patients, access will continue until March 31.

“Through MyHealthNS we have learned Nova Scotians value the use of online tools to access their health information. We will continue to advance the use of new technology,” said Minister of Health and Wellness Randy Delorey.

Patients will be receiving instructions on how to download their data. They will also receive a number of reminders about the March 31 deadline.
