Inmate Escapes from Northeast Correctional Facility

An inmate escaped from the Northeast Correctional Facility near New Glasgow today, at about 8-8:30 p.m.

Kevin Edward Clarke-McNeil is originally from Ontario and was on remand at the facility on several charges, including attempted murder, unlawful confinement, aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and resisting/obstructing a peace officer.

Mr. Clarke-McNeil is 5’8”, about 200 pounds, has brown hair, green eyes and has tattoos on both upper arms.

He has been custody at the facility since December 2019. Any person who has knowledge of Mr. Clarke-McNeil’s should call 911 or local law enforcement.
