Province Seeks Feedback on Location of Eastern Shore Consolidated School

The province will seek feedback from the community on the location of the new Eastern Shore Consolidated School in Halifax Regional Municipality.

Education and Early Childhood Development Minister Derek Mombourquette announced today, March 18, that he has set aside the previous decision and will ensure the community is engaged on potential sites.

“A new consolidated school is a transformational project for the Eastern Shore. It is important for students, families, staff and the community, and we want them to have an opportunity to provide feedback on the school’s future home,” said. Mr. Mombourquette.

Out of respect for the school community, details will be announced after March Break.
