NEW WORK


DIBGY COUNTY: Sam Saulnier Bridge, Placide Comeau Road, Meteghan River

Placide Comeau Road, from the intersection with Trunk 1 to the intersection with Second Division Road, will be closed due to repairs to Sam Saulnier Bridge from Tuesday, May 25, until Friday, June 11.

Detour in place.


DIGBY COUNTY: Holmes Seely Bridge, Middle Cross Road, Marshalltown

Middle Cross Road, from the intersection with Route 217 to the intersection with Highway 101, will be closed due to repairs to Holmes Seely Bridge from Tuesday, May 25, until Friday, June 11.

Detour in place.


HANTS COUNTY: Vaughan Bridge, Vaughan Road, Brooklyn

Vaughan Bridge will be closed for repairs until Friday, May 28.

Detour via Scotch Village Station Road.


INVERNESS COUNTY: Captain Gillis Bridge, Harbourview

Trunk 19, between Hawthorne Road and Railway Road, is reduced to one lane due to repairs to Captain Gillis Bridge until Thursday, Sept. 30.

Traffic control on site. Work takes place from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.


CONTINUING WORK


ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Trunk 4, Broadway/Highway 104 Overpass

Due to ongoing twinning on Highway 104, there is a road closure on Trunk 4 at Broadway/Highway 104 Overpass until Friday, May 28. Local traffic can access Broadway via Exit 27 or Exit 29 from Highway 104.

Signs and traffic control will be in place.


COLCHESTER COUNTY: Creamery Bridge, Route 289, Brookfield

Creamery Bridge, on Route 289 in Brookfield, is reduced to one lane for repairs until Sunday, Oct. 31.

Wide loads will be detoured via Forest Glen Road and Brentwood Road. Traffic lights are in place.


GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Town of Mulgrave, Route 344 (Main Street)

Route 344/Main Street traffic is being re-routed onto the newly installed detour bridge.

The entrance to Mill Street from Main Street will remain closed, and local traffic are advised to seek an alternate route. Signs are in place.

The detour will remain in place until Oct. 31.


GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: MacKeens Bridge, Trunk 7

MacKeens Bridge, on Trunk 7 near Aspen, is closed for bridge replacement until July.

Detour is in place.


HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Beaver Harbour Road, Beaver Harbour

Beaver Harbour Road, from Trunk 7 southerly for three kilometres, is reduced to one lane for road work until Tuesday, Aug. 31.

Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.


HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Dillmans Bridge, Meaghers Grant

Dillmans Bridge, on Wyse Road in Meaghers Grant, is closed until further notice. A detour is available via Old Guysborough Road. Signs are in place.


HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Peggys Point Road, Peggy's Cove

Peggys Point Road, from the Visitor Information Centre west for about one kilometre, is reduced to one lane for road work until Wednesday, June 30.

Work to take place from sunrise to sunset.


HANTS COUNTY: Hartville Road, Ellershouse

Hartville Road, from Trunk 1 southerly to Ellershouse Road, is reduced to one lane for road work until Wednesday, June 30.

Expect delays. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.


HANTS COUNTY: Highway 102, Lantz

A temporary detour is in place on Highway 102 north of Exit 8, Elmsdale, for the replacement of the Nine Mile River bridges, northbound and southbound. This work is part of ongoing construction for the new Lantz Interchange and Connector Road.

The detour has a reduced speed limit of 80 kilometres an hour and is expected to be in place until mid-summer.

The Lantz Interchange and Connector Road is expected to be complete and open to traffic by fall.


HANTS COUNTY: Hydes Bridge, Lantz

Hydes Bridge, on Highway 277, is closed until further notice.

A detour is in place via Dutch Settlement Road, Elmsdale Road and Trunk 2. Signs are in place.


HANTS COUNTY: Trunk 14, Greenfield

Trunk 14, one kilometre west of Walker Road, is reduced to one lane for road work until Tuesday, June 15.

Traffic control on site. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.


INVERNESS COUNTY: Church #1 Truss Bridge, South Side River Denys Branch Road

Church #1 Truss Bridge, on South Side River Denys Branch Road, is closed for repairs until Sunday, May 31.

Detour is in place.


INVERNESS COUNTY: Marble Mountain Road, Marshes (West Bay)

Marble Mountain Road, 550 metres north of Ross Point Road northerly for four kilometres, is reduced to one lane for road work until Thursday, September 30.

Traffic control on site. Work takes place from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.


KINGS COUNTY: Bear Brook Bridge, Berwick

Bear Brook Bridge, on Russia Road in Berwick, is closed for repairs until further notice. A detour is in place.


KINGS COUNTY: Bishop Mountain Overpass, Exit 17E, Kingston
Bishop Mountain Overpass, at Exit 17E, Kingston, is reduced to one lane for bridge repairs until Friday, June 25.

Traffic lights and traffic control will be in place.


LUNENBURG COUNTY: Highway 103

Highway 103, between Exit 9 and 10, has alternating lane closures for road work until Wednesday, June 30.

Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.


LUNENBURG COUNTY: Highway 103, Camperdown School Road, Camperdown

Highway 103, from Camperdown School Road, Camperdown, to Queens County line, has alternating lane closures for repaving and upgrading until Saturday, July 31.

Traffic controls consist of stop and go traffic. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.


LUNENBURG COUNTY: Rhodes Bridge, Northfield Road, Upper Northfield

Rhodes Bridge is closed for deck repairs Friday, June 11.

Detour in place.


LUNENBURG COUNTY: Route 332, Riverport

Route 332, Riverport, from Trunk 3 to Riverport Bridge, has alternating lane closures for paving until Saturday, July 31.

Traffic control on site. Expect delays. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.


PICTOU COUNTY: Highway 104, Eastbound Lanes

Highway 104, eastbound lanes between Exit 20 and 21, is reduced to one lane for road work until Tuesday, August 31.

Work takes place from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.


PICTOU COUNTY: Trunk 4, Mount Thom Road, Mount Thom

Trunk 4, 700 metres west of Mount Thom Road, Mount Thom, easterly for approximately eight kilometres, is reduced to one lane for patching and paving until Tuesday, Aug. 31.

Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Traffic control will be in place.


QUEENS COUNTY: Mill Village Bridge, Mill Village

Mill Village Bridge, on Trunk 3 in Mill Village, is closed for repairs until Monday, May 31.

Detour is in place.


RICHMOND COUNTY: Highway 104, Port Hawkesbury

Highway 104, Port Hawkesbury, 880 metres west of Exit 44, for about 2.7 kilometres westerly, is reduced to one lane for paving until Saturday, July 31.

Traffic control will be on site. Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.


RICHMOND COUNTY: Port Royal Bridge, Isle Madame

Port Royal Bridge, Port Royal Road on Isle Madame, is closed until further notice. A detour is in place on MacEachern Road.


RICHMOND COUNTY: West Bay Road, Points West Bay

West Bay Road, 3.7 kilometres east of MacKay Drive easterly for five kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for road work until Thursday, September 30.

Traffic control on site. Work takes place from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.


VICTORIA COUNTY: Seal Island Bridge

Seal Island Bridge is reduced to one lane for inspection work.

Pilot vehicle on site. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. until Sunday, May 23.


YARMOUTH COUNTY: Melbourne Road, Lower Melbourne

Melbourne Road, from Deviller Lane for approximately 4.8 kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for road work until Thursday, July 1.

Traffic control and signs in place. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.
