CONTINUING WORK


ANNAPOLIS COUNTY: Bank Bridge, Bear River

Bank Bridge, on Upper River Road, will be closed for repairs until Friday, June 25.

Detour is in place.


ANNAPOLIS COUNTY: Stanley Gates Bridge, Melvern Square

Stanley Gates Bridge, on Spa Springs Road, is closed from the intersection with Route 221 to the intersection with Vault Road for bridge repairs until Wednesday, June 30.

Detour is in place.


CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Mira Gut Bridge, Mira Gut

Construction on the Mira Gut Bridge will continue until late fall. Mira Bay Drive, from Brickyard Road to Mira Gut Lane, will be limited to local traffic only.

Access to the beach parking area and washroom facilities will remain open during construction.


COLCHESTER COUNTY: Creamery Bridge, Brookfield

Creamery Bridge, on Route 289, is reduced to one lane for repairs until Sunday, Oct. 31.

Wide loads will be detoured via Forest Glen Road and Brentwood Road. Traffic lights are in place.


GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Route 344 (Main Street), Mulgrave

Route 344/Main Street traffic is being re-routed onto the newly installed detour bridge.

The entrance to Mill Street from Main Street will remain closed, and local traffic is advised to seek an alternate route. Signs are in place.

The detour will remain in place until Sunday, Oct. 31.


HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Beaver Harbour Road, Beaver Harbour

Beaver Harbour Road, from Trunk 7 southerly for three kilometres, is reduced to one lane for road work until Tuesday, Aug. 31.

Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.


HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Dillmans Bridge, Meaghers Grant

Dillmans Bridge, on Wyse Road, is closed until further notice. A detour is available via Old Guysborough Road. Signs are in place.


HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Peggys Point Road, Peggy's Cove

Peggys Point Road, from the Visitor Information Centre west for about one kilometre, is reduced to one lane for road work until Wednesday, June 30.

Work to take place from sunrise to sunset.


HANTS COUNTY: Hartville Road, Ellershouse

Hartville Road, from Trunk 1 southerly to Ellershouse Road, is reduced to one lane for road work until Wednesday, June 30.

Expect delays. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.


HANTS COUNTY: Highway 102, Lantz

A temporary detour is in place on Highway 102 north of Exit 8, Elmsdale, for the replacement of the Nine Mile River bridges, northbound and southbound. This work is part of ongoing construction for the new Lantz Interchange and Connector Road.

The detour has a reduced speed limit of 80 kilometres an hour and is expected to be in place until mid-summer.

The Lantz Interchange and Connector Road is expected to be complete and open to traffic by fall.


HANTS COUNTY: Hydes Bridge, Lantz

Hydes Bridge, on Highway 277, is closed until further notice.

A detour is in place via Dutch Settlement Road, Elmsdale Road and Trunk 2. Signs are in place.


INVERNESS COUNTY: Captain Gillis Bridge, Harbourview

Trunk 19, between Hawthorne Road and Railway Road, is reduced to one lane due to repairs to Captain Gillis Bridge until Thursday, Sept. 30.

Traffic control on site. Work takes place from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.


INVERNESS COUNTY: Church #1 Truss Bridge, South Side River Denys Branch Road

Church #1 Truss Bridge, on South Side River Denys Branch Road, is closed for repairs until Saturday, July 31.

Detour is in place.


INVERNESS COUNTY: Marble Mountain Road, Marshes (West Bay)

Marble Mountain Road, 550 metres north of Ross Point Road northerly for four kilometres, is reduced to one lane for road work until Thursday, Sept. 30.

Traffic control on site. Work takes place from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.


INVERNESS COUNTY: Reeves Street, Port Hawkesbury

Reeves Street will be reduced to one lane for roadwork until Wednesday, June 23.

Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.


KINGS COUNTY: Bear Brook Bridge, Berwick

Bear Brook Bridge, on Russia Road, is closed for repairs until further notice. Detour is in place.


KINGS COUNTY: Bishop Mountain Overpass, Exit 17E, Kingston

Bishop Mountain Overpass, at Exit 17E, Kingston, is reduced to one lane for bridge repairs until Friday, June 25.

Traffic lights and traffic control will be in place.


LUNENBURG COUNTY: Barss Corner Road

Barss Corner Road, from Sarty Road to Newburne Road, has stop and go traffic and alternating lane closures for repaving and upgrading until Thursday, Sept. 30.

Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.


LUNENBURG COUNTY: Conquerall Mills Road

Conquerall Mills Road, easterly for 0.8 kilometres, has stop and go traffic and alternating lane closures for repaving and upgrading until Thursday, Sept. 30.

Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.


LUNENBURG COUNTY: Highway 103

Highway 103, between Exits 9 and 10, has alternating lane closures for road work until Wednesday, June 30.

Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.


LUNENBURG COUNTY: Highway 103, Camperdown School Road, Camperdown

Highway 103, from Camperdown School Road, Camperdown, to Queens County line, has alternating lane closures for repaving and upgrading until Saturday, July 31.

Traffic controls consist of stop and go traffic. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.


LUNENBURG COUNTY: Indian Path Bridge, Bayport

Indian Path Bridge, Route 332, is reduced to one lane for repairs until further notice.

Detour is in place for vehicles over five tonnes.


LUNENBURG COUNTY: Kraut Point Road

Kraut Point Road, from Lower Lahave Road to end, has stop and go traffic and alternating lane closures for repaving and upgrading until Thursday, Sept. 30.

Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.


LUNENBURG COUNTY: Rhodes Bridge, Upper Northfield

Rhodes Bridge, on Northfield Road, is closed for deck repairs until Wednesday, June 30.

Detour is in place.


LUNENBURG COUNTY: Route 332, Riverport

Route 332, from Trunk 3 to Riverport Bridge, has alternating lane closures for paving until Saturday, July 31.

Traffic control on site. Expect delays. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.


LUNENBURG COUNTY: Upper Branch Road

Upper Branch Road, 5.6 kilometres north of Seamone Road to Route 208, has stop and go traffic and alternating lane closures for repaving and upgrading until Tuesday, Aug. 31.

Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.


PICTOU COUNTY: Highway 104, Eastbound Lanes

Highway 104 eastbound between Exits 20 and 21 is reduced to one lane for road work until Tuesday, Aug. 31.

Work takes place from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.


PICTOU COUNTY: Trunk 4, Mount Thom

Trunk 4, 700 metres west of Mount Thom Road easterly for approximately eight kilometres, is reduced to one lane for patching and paving until Tuesday, Aug. 31.

Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Traffic control is in place.


QUEENS COUNTY: Beech Hill Road

Beech Hill Road, from Trunk 3 to end, has stop and go traffic and alternating lane closures for repaving and upgrading until Thursday, Sept.30.

Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.


QUEENS COUNTY: Medway River Road

Medway River Road, from Bangs Falls Road to end, has stop and go traffic and alternating lane closures for repaving and upgrading until Tuesday, Aug. 31.

Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.


QUEENS COUNTY: Rosette Road

Rosette Road, from Old Westfield Road to end, has stop and go traffic and alternating lane closures for repaving and upgrading until Thursday, Sept. 30.

Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.


RICHMOND COUNTY: Highway 104, Port Hawkesbury

Highway 104, 880 metres west of Exit 44 for about 2.7 kilometres westerly, is reduced to one lane for paving until Saturday, July 31.

Traffic control is on site. Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.


RICHMOND COUNTY: Port Royal Bridge, Isle Madame

Port Royal Bridge, on Port Royal Road, is closed until further notice. A detour is in place on MacEachern Road.


RICHMOND COUNTY: West Bay Road, Points West Bay

West Bay Road, 3.7 kilometres east of MacKay Drive easterly for five kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for road work until Thursday, September 30.

Traffic control on site. Work takes place from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.


YARMOUTH COUNTY: Melbourne Road, Lower Melbourne

Melbourne Road, from Deviller Lane for approximately 4.8 kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for road work until Thursday, July 1.

Traffic control and signs are in place. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.
