The Department of Natural Resources has signed an agreement with a forestry organization to administer and carry out a silviculture pilot project on small private woodlots throughout Nova Scotia. The project is valued at $400,000.

NATURAL RESOURCES--Province and Nature Conservancy Announce Joint
The provincial government and the Nature Conservancy of Canada have formed a partnership to protect ecologically significant lands in Nova Scotia, Premier John Hamm announced today in Halifax.
