NATURAL RESOURCES--License Agreement Signed With Snowmobilers
Natural Resources Minister Kennie MacAskill has signed a three-year license agreement with the Snowmobilers Association of Nova Scotia for the use and maintenance of snowmobile trails on Crown land. Snowmobile Association president Arlene Taylor and past-president Laurie Cranton signed the agreement with Mr. MacAskill on Thursday, Nov. 26.

The provincial government is taking action to halt unauthorized timber harvesting in Nova Scotia. Natural Resources Minister Kennie MacAskill announced in the legislature today that, effective immediately, all unauthorized harvesting on Crown lands must cease.
