Some representation of under-represented central Rolling Hills Natural Landscape

Mature and old growth red spruce, eastern hemlock and tolerant hardwood along rivers and in steep river slopes

Forestry Values

Primarily mature hardwood and mixedwood, with a small amount of regenerating cutovers

Portion of western parcel and ravines in eastern parcel currently unavailable for forestry due to DNR old forest policy

The area overlaps with a regional agreement for petroleum exploration

Low wind potential
