Over 4 km of shoreline on St. Andrews River

At least 5 at-risk species of riparian plants

Small but rich floodplain ecosystems along the river

Provides some representivity of the Shubenacadie River Rolling Hills natural landscape, which is currently poorly represented in the protected areas network

Disturbed area, but with good potential to recover to a natural condition over time
