Overview

Extensive beach on Fourchu Bay

Protection Values

Includes two kilometres of beach; provides access to Gabarus Protected Area (across Gut).  Identified by the Nova Scotia Department of Environment as a portion of lands (Patch # 157) that could contribute to the Province’s goal of protecting 12% of the land base by 2015.
