Liscomb Mills Provincial Park

Overview

Narrow strip of land around Liscomb Point containing 7.5 kilometres of coastline. Proposed addition of inland Crown lands will enhance the park’s protection and recreation values.

Protection Values

Extensive coastline.  Identified by the N.S. Department of Environment as a portion of lands (Patch # 214) that could contribute to the Province’s goal of protecting 12 % of the land base by 2015.  Connects to a Protected Beach.

Tourism Values

Nearby Liscomb Lodge uses property for trail use.  Coastal recreation opportunity.
