A popular hiking park offering a system of trails along Lambs Lake

Protection Values

Includes old growth forest; rare fauna, areas of potential for pre-contact archaeological sites. Recent acquisition from Bowater.  Condition of purchase was to manage for protection/conservation.  Lambs Lake Site of Ecological Significance managed by NS Environment as a Nature Reserve

Mickey Hill Pocket Wilderness was operated by Bowater for many years prior to acquisition by the Province; contains three locally important hiking trails; on a “Canoe Annapolis” canoe route

0 – 30 vehicles per day, weather permitting, beach area heavily used in summer months
