Vineyard Replant Program
The Vineyard Replant Program provides Nova Scotia wine grape growers with funding assistance to replant sections of their vineyard with recommended grape varieties. The program helps to better position Nova Scotia’s wine industry within the national and international marketplace.
To be eligible, you must:
- ensure your vineyard is properly registered under the Farm Registration Act
- be at least 19 years of age and actively farming in the program year
- be a member in good standing with the Grape Growers Association of Nova Scotia, and, if operating a winery, be a member in good standing with Wine Growers Nova Scotia
- ensure your vineyard has a minimum of 5 acres of grape production
Deadline or important dates
Program Opening: 15 July, 2021
Application Deadline: 1 September, 2021
Claim Deadline: 1 March, 2022
How to Apply
Complete the Vineyard Replant Application and submit it to the Programs and Business Risk Management office.
If you’re new to agriculture funding programs since 2018, you also need to complete the Program Funding Registration form. If you’re a returning client, you can use the form to update your information.
