Vineyard Replant Program

The Vineyard Replant program assists the provincial wine grape industry to better position Nova Scotia within the marketplace. The program supports grape growers in replanting sections of their vineyard with recommended varieties.


To be eligible, you must:

  • be properly registered under the Farm Registration Act
  • be at least 19 years old and actively farming in the program year
  • be a member in good standing with the Grape Growers Association of Nova Scotia. Wineries must be a member in good standing with Wine Growers Nova Scotia
  • have a minimum of 5 acres of grape production

Deadline or important dates

Program opening: 1 April, 2022
Application deadline: 1 September, 2022
Claim deadline: 31 December, 2022

How to apply

Complete the application and submit it to the Programs Division office.

If you're new to agriculture funding programs since 2018, you also need to complete the Program Funding Registration form. If you're a returning client, you can use the form to update your information.
