Agriculture On-Farm Student Bursary Program
The Agriculture On-Farm Student Bursary provides bursaries of up to $1,000 for eligible post-secondary students who worked on a farm in the summer of 2019. The application deadline is 30 November.
The bursary program helps introduce Nova Scotia students to careers in agriculture and develop skills and knowledge to work in this field.
Students who worked a minimum of 250 hours may be eligible for a bursary of $500. Students who worked for a minimum of 500 hours may be eligible for a bursary of $1,000.

To apply for the bursary, students must:
- be a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant and a permanent resident of Nova Scotia
- be enrolled in a post-secondary institution in September 2019
- have been employed by a Nova Scotia registered farm for at least 250 hours between 1 May and the end of the first week in September 2019
How to Apply
Complete the Agriculture On-Farm Student Bursary Program Application Form and submit to the Programs office. Attach proof of enrollment in school and copies of your Record of Employment (ROE).
Applications will be available 1 September and are due by 30 November.
