Career Help

At some point in your career journey with the Nova Scotia provincial government, you may find it helpful to talk to a career professional. The Public Service Commission is pleased to be able to offer career support on an individual basis to government employees to help you:

  • make decisions about your future career direction,
  • set career-related goals and create action plans,
  • assess your strengths and interests, and
  • identify and communicate your skills and experience to others.

Customized to your needs, career support may consist of a one-time meeting or a series of meetings with work for you to do between sessions. No need to bring anything or to prepare beforehand, though it is best to be clear about exactly what help you would like.

If you would like to consult with the Career Development Specialist, please fill out an Appointment Request. Please note, the form is only available if you are signed into the government network.
