Registry of Firewood Vendors in Nova Scotia

This voluntary registry provides consumers with a list of firewood vendors who have agreed to conduct business according to the Code of Ethics of the registry. This Code of Ethics addresses such practices as uniform and legal measurements, consumer disputes and advertisements.

Compliance with the Code of Ethics

Only vendors who comply with the Code of Ethics will be listed in the registry. Applicants who wish to join the registry will be evaluated to verify that advertisements, receipts and any necessary registrations are in compliance. If a vendor does not conduct business according to the Code, they may be removed from the registry.
