Description of Organization: The Supply Chain Management Association, operating as Supply Chain Canada, is the corporation that constitutes the national secretariat of a federation whose vision is to ensure Canadian supply chain professionals and organizations are recognized for leading innovation, global competitiveness and driving economic growth. The national secretariat coordinates autonomous Provincial and Territorial Institutes, each of which is separately incorporated and is responsible for the SCMP (Supply Chain Management Professional) Designation in its jurisdiction.
Supply Chain Canada provides leadership to the Canadian supply chain community, provides value to all members, and advances the profession. |

Coordination of supply chains supporting the public sector, including the delivery of critical goods to government entities such as provincial health authorities. Coordination of supply chains supporting the private sector, including the delivery of essential goods to retailers and major grocers. Consultation and advocacy on demand modelling, inventory levels of critical supplies and changes to the manufacturing sector. Consultation and advocacy related to the education, training and re-training of supply chain management professionals. |
