| Anyone in Nova Scotia who wants to have the N.S. Department of Natural Resources administer a voluntary grade system for Christmas tree production (NS Christmas Tree Grade). | ||

| An application form can be obtained from the nearest
Regional or Area Office
of the N.S. Department of Natural Resources. When completed, it is submitted
to any of these offices. Applicants must pass a 2 day training course in Christmas tree grading held in October of each year. If all requirements are met, and the application is approved, the applicant will be notified by phone by the Christmas Tree Specialist of the N.S. Department of Natural Resources. |

| This registration is valid for 1 year from the date it is issued. The Department will send out a renewal notice before it expires. A Refresher course is required; see Additional Information, below. | ||
