| Who Needs This Registration? | ||
| Anyone who wants to broker, produce, or sell Christmas trees in Nova Scotia shall register with the Christmas Tree Council of Nova Scotia for the purpose of the collection of a levy. | ||

Registration as a Vendor-Producer, Broker or both may be made in writing to Christmas Tree Council of Nova Scotia by mail/email. All applications are approved on receipt. Levy forms are sent to Vendor-Producers and Brokers of record annually and are also available on Council's website (www.ctcns.com). Levy forms and payment are due February 1st of the year following production. |

| Registration is free. However, there is a levy of one percent of the roadside value of the Christmas trees. | ||
| Related Requirements: | ||
| Once the Christmas Tree Broker, Vendor or Producer is registered, they stay in the register. Each year they must record their status (which could be inactive). | ||
