Who Needs This Permit?
Anyone who wants to possess fur pelts or skins in Nova Scotia outside the legal dates permitted by trapping or hunting Licences.

Expiry & Renewal:
This permit is valid for the period of time stated on it which may be indefinite (See Additional Information). It is not renewable.

Additional Information:
  1. Fur Harvesters must obtain this permit if they wish to keep furs for more than 2 weeks after the open season closes.

  2. This permit may also be used by anyone who wants to keep pelts indefinitely (such as taxidermy mounts).
