| Who Needs This Seal? | ||
| Any person who wants to sell in Nova Scotia or export from Nova Scotia
a bear gallbladder.
Note: It is an offence to sell or export a bear gallbladder in / from Nova Scotia that has not been officially sealed. |

| Application Forms & Process: | ||
| An applicant must bring the bear gallbladder (cleaned and frozen or
dried) to the office of the NS Department of Natural Resources where their
hunting or snaring licence was issued. The hunting or snaring licence, under which the bear was taken, must be presented. The gallbladder will be inspected and weighed. The information will be recorded at this time and the seal will be secured to the gallbladder. |
