Anyone who wants to prospect or start mineral exploration on Crown Lands.

Any of the Local or Area Offices of the Department of Natural Resources and Renewables or provincial.geologist@novascotia.ca.

Application may be made to provincial.geologist@novascotia.ca or at the nearest Local or Area Office of the N.S. Department of Natural Resources and Renewables.
If all requirements are met, and the application is approved, the applicant will be notified by the department.

Waiting Period: |

Permit for the Purposes of Prospecting on Crown Land: 14 days
Permit for Mineral Exploration on Crown Land: minimum 30 days
|
Expiry & Renewal: |
|
This permit is valid for 2 years from the date it is issued (unless cancelled or terminated).
