| Who Needs This Permit? | |
To work in a compulsory certified trade, a certificate, temporary work permit or apprentice status is required. In Nova Scotia, there are more than 65 trades that are designated under the Apprenticeship and Trades Qualifications Act. Of these trades, a number are specified as compulsory certified. A temporary permit is only valid for the time period indicated on the permit (maximum 90 days). Once it expires, it is invalid. An individual may be eligible for a re-issue. |
