Local Division Registrar of Births and Stillbirths: Registration

  Designated hospital personnel who are responsible for the registration of births and stillbirths.

Application Process:
  The above office will accept applications from Medical Records Directors of hospitals for the position of Local Division Registrar of Births and Stillbirths. Call the office above for details.  The N.S. Deputy Registrar General of Vital Statistics must approve all applications and will issue a certificate to the Division Registrar.
Waiting Period:
  10 business days
Provided that all the items that must accompany the application have been received

  The Vital Statistics Section, Service Nova Scotia is responsible for the training and supplying of Division Registrars in Nova Scotia and the provision of supplies.
