Anyone who needs ownership of submerged land
in coastal waters to permit the construction of large wharves, causeways,
infills or breakwaters.

Application Forms & Process: |
An applicant can make a request in writing to
the Land Administration Division of the N.S. Department of Natural Resources.
Applicants may need to have the land surveyed at their own cost; and also
pay appraisal costs, an administration fee, and the market value of the
land.
If all requirements are met, and the application is approved, the applicant
will be notified by the Director, Land Administration Division, following
a decision by the N.S. Executive Council.

Administration fee: $747.93 plus applicable tax
