The Province, through its Sustainable Transportation Strategy is committed to promoting and developing healthy and livable communities. To achieve these goals the province recognizes the need for enhanced data collection, tracking, analysis and modeling to better inform decision-making related to sustainable transportation investments.
The Province has partnered with Dalhousie Transportation Research Collabratory (DalTRAC) to define a set of indicators that would serve as a baseline to measure progress. The baseline data has now been established and sustainable transportation indicators are now being tracked.
The attached PDFs outline the highlights of key sustainable transportation indicators, as well as emission study and municipal reporting survey results. See more on DalTRAC here http://www.dal.ca/sites/daltrac.html
