The first letter is from William MacKay, Acting Commissioner of Crown Lands and Surveyor-General to Crawley requesting a correct plan of all lands reserved for Mi'kmaq in Cape Breton. The second letter is from John Whidden to MacKay directing him to give Joseph Howe's copies of lands reserved for Mi'kmaq in Cape Breton.
