Framboise Beach Designation
made under subsection 5(1) of the
Beaches Act
R.S.N.S. 1989, c. 32

The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Lands and Forests dated the 7th day of January, A.D., 1977, pursuant to Section 5(1) of Chapter 6 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1975, the Beaches Preservation and Protection Act, is pleased to designate as a beach an area of land lying landward from the mean high watermark of Framboise Beach, in the County of Richmond, Province of Nova Scotia, as shown outlined in red on the copy of Crown Land Records Office Plan No. E-10-66, marked Schedule “B” and described in Schedule “A”, both attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation.
Schedule “A”
All that certain area of land lying landward from the mean high watermark of Framboise Beach, in the County of Richmond, Province of Nova Scotia as shown outlined in red on the copy of Crown Land Records Office Plan No. E-10-66, attached hereto and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at Crown Land iron post #R3387 situated near Wingham Point;
From thence (by astronomic bearings referenced to Meridian 61° 30' West) north fifty-one degrees eight minutes thirty-four seconds west nine hundred fifty-six decimal seventy-six feet to Crown Land iron post #R3388;
Thence north sixty-seven degrees twenty minutes twenty-nine seconds west six hundred twelve decimal forty-two feet to Crown Land iron post #R3389;
Thence north eighty-two degrees fifty-two minutes fifty-four seconds west one thousand sixty-nine decimal seventy-eight feet to Crown Land iron post #R3390;
Thence south eighty-eight degrees forty minutes fifty-six seconds west seven hundred sixty-seven decimal nineteen feet to Crown Land iron post #R3391;
Thence south eighty degrees twenty-six minutes fifty-one seconds west one thousand twenty-one decimal twenty-seven feet to Crown Land iron post #R3392;

Thence north sixty-five degrees three minutes sixteen seconds east ten thousand six hundred forty-six decimal eighteen feet crossing the waters of Framboise Cove to the place of beginning;
Excepting and reserving from the above described area of land all the portion thereof lying seaward from the mean high watermark.
