The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice and Attorney General dated January 31, 1997, pursuant to Section 3 of Chapter 238 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Court Act, is pleased to appoint Judge Jean-Louis Batiot as Associate Chief Judge of the Provincial Court for a term of office of five years.
