HEALTH--YARMOUTH PREVIEWS MOBILE BREAST SCREENING UNIT ------------------------------------------------------------ Nova Scotia's mobile breast screening unit will be at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital parking lot Saturday, Nov. 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Women are welcome to drop by the unit for breast screening. The unit normally travels throughout Cape Breton but is coming to Yarmouth on the occasion of a local Women's Health Awareness Day. "Plans are in the works for expanding the provincial mammography program to the western region in 1996; this gives the Yarmouth area a preview of what's to come," said Bob St. Laurent, regional director for the western health region. Two technologists operate the unit which was unveiled only last year in Sydney at its home base, Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
