NOVA SCOTIA MUSEUM--THE HALIFAX EXPLOSION ------------------------------------------------------------ Seventy-eight years after the event, do we yet know who was to blame? Seventy-eight years and thousands of lives after the event, does it really matter? At 7:30 p.m., Dec. 5, at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic author and researcher Janet Kitz will give a special presentation about the 1917 Explosion in Halifax Harbour. For a hitherto unexplored perspective, join Ms. Kitz as she tells the story using the testimonials of survivors given during the inquiry immediately following the disaster. Admission to both the museum and talk are free but donations to the food bank are gratefully appreciated. -30- Contact: Gerry Lunn 902-424-8793 trp Nov. 15, 1995
